Viking Drinking Horns

These are a few Viking drinking horns I have carved over the last few years.I have several more on the go and will post the photos when I'm done.
Although my horns have been sterilized with boiling water and rinsed several times, I would recommend a beeswax or food grade varnish coating on the inside of the horn if you are going to use it regularly as a drinking vessel. That would help to avoid any possible unpleasant taste notes. I think it is really up to each individual to decide what works best for them relative to authenticity.
